Job Description The 18th Prosecutorial District for Pittsburg and Haskell Counties is seeking a full-time Assistant District Attorney for the Pittsburg County Office to begin immediately. The McAlester Office at full capacity is a four-attorney office with 11 support staff. Caseload assignments will primarily be general felonies and property crimes, as well as the criminal misdemeanor and traffic dockets, and is subject to change based on caseload and applicant’s interest and experience. Prior prosecutorial experience is preferred but not required. Responsibilities Handle cases in general felonies and property crimes, as well as criminal misdemeanor and traffic dockets. Participate in case management and courtroom proceedings as assigned. Collaborate with office staff to support efficient case processing. Qualifications Qualified candidates with interest in prosecutorial work; prior prosecutorial experience is preferred but not required.
