The Patrick Dealer Group, one of Chicago’s largest automotive dealerships, is hiring! We are seeking Automotive Journeymen to join our Cadillac Service team.

What We’re Looking For:

• Automotive Experience : Minimum 2 - 3 years Journeyman level Automotive Mechanic experience 
• Preferred Qualifications : ASE Certification and/or General Motors Center of Learning Training.
• Clean Driving Record : A valid and clean driving record is essential.
• Compliance : Must be willing to submit to a drug screen and background check.
• Age Requirement : Must be 19 years of age or older.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Service Advisors : Discuss work to be performed and future repair requirements.
• Diagnose and Repair : Maintain and repair vehicle systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Warranty Repairs : Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
• Efficient Work : Perform work as outlined on repair orders with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards.
• Vehicle Inspections : Conduct proper vehicle inspections to ensure safety and reliability.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols and company policies .
• Keep up to date with industry trends and advancements in automotive technology.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Educational Background : One-year certificate from college or technical school, or three to six months of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
