Position: Box Truck Driver
Location: Las Vegas
Schedule: Monday - Friday
Pay Rate: $18.00 an Hour
Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Box Truck Driver to transport goods and materials to various customer locations. The ideal candidate will have experience driving box trucks, a clean driving record, and a strong commitment to customer service and punctuality.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate a box truck safely and efficiently to deliver goods to designated locations.
Load and unload materials using proper lifting techniques or equipment when necessary.
Ensure all deliveries are completed on time and in good condition.
Verify and review delivery paperwork (invoices, delivery receipts, etc.).
Communicate with dispatch regarding route progress or issues.
Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any issues promptly.
Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
Requirements:
Valid driver’s license (CDL not required unless specified).
Clean driving record (MVR check may be required).
Proven experience driving a box truck (typically 16–26 ft.).
Ability to lift up to [insert lbs] as needed.
Good communication and customer service skills.
Dependable, punctual, and self-motivated.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous delivery experience.
Familiarity with using GPS or routing software.
Forklift or pallet jack experience (if applicable).
