Talascend is currently seeking a Business Applications Administrator for a contract-to-direct opportunity with our client in Washington DC. You must be a U.S. Citizen, eligible for Public Trust security clearance.

OVERVIEW:

This role focuses on administering and optimizing key business collaboration and document management platforms, including iManage, eRooms, Confluence, and Jira. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Administer iManage, eRooms, Confluence, and Jira to ensure stable, secure, and efficient operation Configure systems, apply updates and patches, and manage integrations Troubleshoot application issues related to performance, access, and connectivity Monitor logs and system performance, resolving issues proactively Manage user accounts, permissions, and roles across applications Implement and test backup and disaster recovery plans Customize workflows and automations within Confluence and Jira to support team productivity Maintain thorough documentation of system configurations, workflows, and support processes Participate in change management to support updates and new feature rollouts POSITION REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent experience 3–5 years of experience administering enterprise applications such as iManage, eRooms, Confluence, and Jira Proficiency with SQL and scripting (e.g., Python, PowerShell) for automation and troubleshooting Experience with system monitoring and performance tuning Understanding of networking fundamentals, security best practices, and application integration Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills Ability to collaborate across technical and business teams Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proven ability to manage day-to-day support alongside long-term projects DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Experience with Jira workflows, iManage customization, or similar application-specific configuration Familiarity with ITIL or other IT service management frameworks Experience with cloud or hybrid application environments We thank all applicants for their interest.
