Novastone Capital Advisors (NCA) is a global firm specializing in succession solutions for Small to Medium-Sized Businesses (SMBs). Through our Operator-Led Search Fund Program, we assist in business succession, providing support and incentives for professionals to acquire and lead small to medium-sized enterprises.

We seek motivated, talented mid-career professionals with entrepreneurial ambitions to partner with NCA, search for, acquire, and lead a company as CEO.

As a Searcher, you will conduct a 24-month search to acquire a company, with financial and operational support from NCA, along with an attractive compensation package including base salary and equity in the acquired company.

Successful candidates will acquire and manage a company in the USA.

SEARCHER RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Establish a search process to generate deal flow and find a suitable business.
2. Manage the acquisition process with support from our Investment Management team.
3. Assume the CEO role of the acquired business.
4. Develop growth strategies, long-term plans, and 100-day action plans.
5. Enhance business growth through marketing and sales initiatives.
6. Review and improve product/service offerings and market positioning.
7. Manage geographical expansion and market entry strategies.
8. Ensure profitability and operational efficiency.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• 10+ years of professional experience.
• Executive MBA or MBA preferred.
• At least 5 years in leadership roles managing multiple teams across geographies.
• Proven track record of business growth in the US over 10+ years.
• P&L management experience.
• Strategic vision for a sector or industry.
• Strong motivation for entrepreneurship.

NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS

• M&A experience.
• Experience in top consulting firms.
• Experience managing or operating SMEs.
• Ownership or founding experience in startups.
• Experience in global business development and international expansion.
• Successful recent business transformation experience.
• Openness to learning, people, and failures.

SELECTION PROCESS

• Multiple interviews, online assessments, business case presentations, and jury review over several weeks.
• Webinars for program details and team interaction.
• Final assessment in December 2025.
