Now Hiring: Sr. Engineer / Staff Engineer – Safety, Incident Response & Technical Leadership

Are you an experienced engineer ready to lead high-impact safety investigations and drive process excellence in the natural gas or petrochemical industry? We’re looking for a Sr. or Staff Engineer to join a dynamic team where your leadership and deep technical skills will make a real difference.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a technical leader, you'll take charge of serious incident investigations—focusing on pipeline, employee, and process safety. You'll represent the safety and operational discipline to both internal leadership and regulatory agencies like PHMSA, OSHA, and CSB. Your expertise will guide cross-functional teams, influence corporate safety practices, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Key contributions include:

  • Leading or evaluating incident investigations across the field
  • Preparing high-impact presentations for leadership, stakeholders, and agencies
  • Developing investigation training and qualifying team leaders
  • Driving initiatives through cross-functional collaboration with safety, environmental, legal, and operations teams
  • Supporting Health & Safety Focus Teams and contributing to Board-level safety updates

You’re a Great Fit If You Have:

  • 8–15+ years of progressive engineering experience in the natural gas or petrochemical sector
  • A Bachelor’s in Engineering (or Engineering Technology + PE license)
  • Strong safety mindset and hands-on knowledge of incident response, root cause analysis, scene security, and evidence gathering
  • A collaborative spirit, passion for problem-solving, and the confidence to ask critical questions
  • Tech-savvy skills in Microsoft Office and engineering tools
  • Bonus points for: PE certification, project management experience, and refining/management exposure
