About the Role

We are excited to offer a full-time opportunity for a Clinical Documentation Improvement Specialist (CDIS) . This on-site position involves:

• Conducting concurrent and retrospective reviews of inpatient medical records.
• Evaluating the utilization and documentation of acute care services.
• Facilitating accurate physician documentation to reflect patient severity and risk.
• Meeting internal and external review requirements to ensure quality care outcomes.

Qualifications

To thrive in this role, you should have:

• An Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing Education or be an International Medical Graduate.
• A minimum of five (5) years of clinical experience in an acute care setting (critical care, medical/surgical, or Emergency Department nursing preferred).
• CDIS experience is a plus!
• A current RN license in the State of Nevada.
