Job Summary

Aspire Allergy & Sinus is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented candidate to join our team as a Compounding Pharmacy Technician in our on-site allergy lab. This Non-retail pharmacy technician position will support Aspire's internal medical providers and patients across the nation by compounding a variety of unique/patient-specific allergy treatments. Candidates must work well independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.

Monday - Thursday: 8AM -5 PM

Friday: 8am- 12PM!

Key Responsibilities
  • Use of compounding equipment to combine allergen mixtures into the appropriate dosage as listed in the corresponding prescription
  • Use our custom prescription tracking software and Electronic Medical Records (EMR) to track prescriptions and update/maintain patient account information
  • Collaborate with our patient services and clinical staff to ensure patient satisfaction
  • Ensure a safe and clean environment by setting up and sanitizing your workstation
  • Follow all safety procedures and guidelines for preparation of compounds
  • Monitor and maintain compounding equipment
  • Assist with packing and shipping patient outbound packages
  • Use an automated shipping system to coordinate shipments and track packages
  • Assist with maintaining inventory levels for raw production materials and shipping supplies
  • Take part in relevant training as well as educational programs
  • Follow all HIPAA rules and regulations including confidentiality of patient information
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
  • A detailed oriented individual with a positive attitude who enjoys a challenging environment
  • A focused work ethic
  • Strong knowledge of standards and all relevant USP compounding guidelines is a plus
  • Must be able to work independently and in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) or Prescription Management software systems and standard office equipment.
  • Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPht) or Texas State (RPhT) is required
  • High School diploma or GED is required
