We are growing rapidly and currently in search of a CONSTRUCTION SUPERINTENDENT to join our team of energetic self-starters in the Houston area.
WHAT YOULL DO:
Work directly with project managers to oversee the project from conception to completion.
Lead all daily field operations to ensure proper site safety, construction, progress, quality control, and a clean site.
Plan and coordinate all daily activities at the job site.
Enforce OSHA compliance.
Coordinate with subcontractors to ensure quality.
Maintain complete and organized records of the job site.
Manage efficient & timely project close-out including punch list completion, as-built review, attic stock demobilization, etc.
Promote and contribute to a working atmosphere across all divisions that results in maintaining strong cooperation, efficiency, and teamwork.
WHAT YOULL NEED:
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field.
At least five years of experience in commercial construction.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, trade partners, clients, and customers.
Intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Ability to use construction scheduling software is a plus.
