IMPORTANT: This temporary full time role starts Tuesday June 17, 2025 at a military base in Anchorage. Do not apply if you cannot commute to the location and pass entry requirements as noted below.

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Demolition Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely and efficiently dismantling structures and removing debris while adhering to safety protocols. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a strong understanding of construction practices.

Duties

Safely operate demolition tools and equipment, including jackhammers, saws, and excavators.
Remove materials such as carpet, drywall, flooring, plaster, and masonry from buildings.
Assist in the preparation of job sites by setting up barriers and ensuring safety measures are in place.
Collaborate with team members to execute demolition plans effectively.
Perform site clean-up and debris removal following demolition activities.
Conduct inspections of work areas to identify potential hazards or issues before beginning work.
Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition, reporting any malfunctions or needs for repair.
Requirements

Clean criminal record, no felonies or DUI.
Willing and able to pass random drug screening as required.
Previous experience in demolition or related construction fields is preferred.
Familiarity with carpeting, masonry, remodeling, drywall installation, flooring installation, tile laying, plastering, and carpentry is a plus.
Strong physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy materials (up to 50 pounds).
Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in demolition work.
Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues on-site.
Willingness to work in various weather conditions and at different heights as required by job tasks.
