Pacific Biodiesel Technologies is hiring for a motivated Drain Cleaning Technician to join our Oahu fleet. Driver Applications are available in the posting details and should be uploaded as an attachment under the "Resume" section. We ask all applicants to submit a resume with their application.
As a Drain Cleaning Technician, you'll be responsible to conduct and perform various types of jobs pertaining to drain cleaning. You will schedule site inspections and quote(s) to perform service, maintain customer-owned grease interceptors, and perform grease trap core sampling (involves basic mathematical calculations).
Our ideal applicant possesses a high school diploma or equivalent, valid Hawai'i driver's license, acceptable driver's abstract, ability to drive and operate service vehicles, ability to remove manhole covers from grease interceptors, possesses basic understanding of grease interceptors and servicing techniques, proficient with performing maintenance tasks, in addition to excellent interpersonal, customer service, and communication skills. Being based on Oahu will set you apart from other applicants.
This position features physical demands including but not limited to - ability to remove up to 60lb manhole covers from grease interceptors, ability to sit, stand, twist, reach, walk and climb stairs, climb in and out of truck between stops, ability to operate drag snake, jetting and camera lines, ability to wear protective equipment on the head, face, hands and feet, and ability to work for intermittent periods outdoors in ambient temperatures and precipitation extremes typical of Hawai'i climate.
This is a regular, full-time, hourly, non-exempt position. Pay is $26-$30/hour based on experience + benefits including 100% single coverage medical, drug, vision, and dental insurance; 401(k) plan, paid time off, and nine paid holidays.
