The UHealth-University of Miami Health System IT Department has an opportunity for a full-time Epic Analyst 3 - Cadence.

The Epic Analyst 3 - Cadence, oversees and leads the Associate Epic Analysts and Epic Analysts on the team. The Epic Analyst 3 - Cadence, initiates the implementation, builds, and modifies of the application, and collaborates with key stakeholders, end-users, and application team members to optimize the application's configuration, function, and access. The incumbent supports junior staff members in day-to-day operations and resolving application issues.

  1. Serves as a primary support contact for application end-users.
  2. Initiates the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of the application.
  3. Initiates all phases of testing and the documentation of workflow design.
  4. Performs the analysis of information technology in clinical work processes and validates the impacts to the workflow.
  5. Initiates the identification of issues and guides the work to resolve them.
  6. Supports junior staff members in the evaluation and resolution of service tickets, identification and implementation of application changes, retrieval of requested data, and execution of day-to-day operations.
  7. Collaborates with trainers on application changes and new features to develop documentation and training strategies.
  8. Works with stakeholders, the business community, and end users to ensure the application meets UHealth's business/clinical needs.
  9. Participate in on-call rotations and support and attend and participate in, applicable committees.
  10. Maintains regular communication with team members, including participating in weekly project team meetings.
  11. Review the status of projects and issues on an ongoing basis with leadership.
  12. Remains knowledgeable about UHealth's policies, procedures, and business operations.
  13. Travel to the job site during go-lives, conferences, and/or senior leadership meetings.
  14. Adheres to University and unit-level policies and procedures and safeguards University assets.

Core Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field
  • Epic Cadence Certification
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
  • Ability to work evenings, nights, and weekends as necessary.
  • Proficiency in computer software (i.e. Microsoft Office).
  • Ability to recognize, analyze, and solve a variety of problems.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form.
  • Ability to lead, motivate, develop and train others.
