Events Manager

New York, United States

The Events Manager will be responsible for leading the end-to-end execution of marketing events, from planning and logistics to staffing and on-site management. The ideal candidate is proactive, resourceful, and thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment. You’ll work closely with internal teams, clients, vendors, and promotional staff to ensure every event is delivered seamlessly and exceeds expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute marketing and promotional events from start to finish
  • Manage event logistics including venue selection, vendor coordination, permits, supplies, and staffing
  • Lead and mentor a team of junior coordinators, brand ambassadors, and event staff
  • Maintain tight timelines and budgets, while ensuring all events align with brand objectives
  • Act as the main point of contact on-site, ensuring smooth event operations and solving problems in real time
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to align event strategy with broader campaign goals
  • Track and analyse event performance, producing post-event reports with insights and recommendations
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, clients, and partners
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and legal requirements for all activations

Requirements

  • Proven track record of managing successful events under pressure
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organisational and time-management abilities
  • Ability to lift and transport event materials when needed
  • Must be based in or near Manhattan, NY and available to work fully on-site
