About the Role

The Company is seeking an Executive Director of Global Pharmacovigilance to lead the development and implementation of risk management strategies and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the pharmacovigilance team, overseeing the collection, analysis, and reporting of adverse events and safety data, and ensuring the timely submission of safety reports to regulatory authorities. This role requires a strategic leader with a strong background in global pharmacovigilance, including experience from phase 1 through BLA/NDA and commercialization, and a deep understanding of the clinical development process. Key responsibilities for the Executive Director include providing pharmacovigilance and medical expertise to internal and external stakeholders, staying abreast of the latest regulations, and working with cross-functional teams to ensure product safety throughout their lifecycle. The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years' experience in pharmacovigilance and drug safety, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role, and a proven track record of managing a team of professionals. They should possess excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills, and the ability to prioritize and deliver high-quality work within deadlines. The role also involves leading process improvement initiatives and ensuring that safety is a consistent and integral part of the organization's approach.
