Job Description

R-Dent Dental Laboratory, Inc. is looking for a well-rounded Experienced Removable Dental Lab Technician. Description: The Experienced Removable Dental Lab Technician will perform set-up, finishing, quality checking, and other functions for removable appliances such as dentures, partials, and flexibles. Education: High School Diploma or equivalent Compensation: $18-25 per hour (depending on skill and experience) Shift: Full-time Day Shift (7:30am-4:30pm Monday-Friday) or Night Shift (5:00pm-2:00am Sunday-Thursday) Responsibilities/Duties/Qualifications: Must be well-rounded Experienced Removable Dental Technician who can set-up, finish, and quality-check dentures, flexibles and partials. This includes using grinding tools (handpiece, burs, bench lathe, pumice/polish lathe, model trimmer, etc.) Must have previous denture set-up and finishing experience (at least 1 year; at least 2 years preferred). Must be able to accurately follow the prescription as well as oral and written instructions, problem-solve, and create the correct denture, flexible, or partial for each patient. Must be able to fill in for other areas of the Removable Lab as needed. Ability to speak to doctors about cases and assist in solving problems is a plus. Be able to work independently and in teams. Keep work area organized free of debris and clutter. Order supplies according to policies set in place. Must be able to lift 40 pounds. ABOUT THE ORGANIZATION

In 1978, a young CDT by the name of Randy Grubb realized the need for a dental laboratory that would offer quality products with high aesthetics and outstanding customer service. Thus, R-Dent Dental Laboratory was born, and we've grown from that idea about quality and service to become the largest and finest full-service dental laboratory in west Tennessee.
