Furniture Medic by TX-Com is looking for a self-motivated individual to perform restoration on all types of furniture and cabinetry. This job also requires on site visits to both residential and commercial customers, including insurance claim inspections. We specialize in providing restoration services for the insurance industries. We are a family friendly small business that understands the importance of work-life balance.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform all services assigned carefully, promptly and efficiently
• Represent our company so that the Furniture Medic image is always enhanced in the eyes of all customers and insurance partners.
• Willingness to learn: To develop and maintain skills and quality of production and to attend training sessions as required
• To contribute to the improvement of Furniture Medic in areas related to production, sales, and supervision
• Communicate with management any issues or malfunctions with equipment or product
• Maintain positive attitude while resolving production, mechanical and scheduling difficulties which may arise on occasion

Job Requirements:

• Thorough knowledge of furniture restoration including vintage furniture, touchup, cabinet construction and finishing processes.
• Must be proficient in set-up and use of all common wood working tools including table saw, router, miter saw, drill press, planer, etc.
• Proficiency with color matching and spray equipment is desired.
• Countertop bracing and Cabinet installation experience is desired.
