The internal auditor will report to the Audit Manager and help conduct audits to assess the effectiveness of internal controls and compliance with company policies and regulations. Identify and evaluate risks, providing actionable recommendations to mitigate them. Help prepare clear and concise audit reports for management, detailing findings and suggested improvements. Review and audit transactions so they align with contracts. Collaborate with various departments to ensure proper implementation of audit recommendations. Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices to ensure compliance. Assist in the development and execution of the annual audit plan. Provide support during external audits and regulatory examinations. Promote a culture of accountability and transparency across the organization. This role is in office and based in Beverly Hills, CA.

A successful Internal Auditor should have: a background in internal audit coming from industry, financial services, or public accounting. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Familiarity with internal audit methodologies and risk assessment techniques. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Attention to detail and ability to work independently. Proficiency with auditing tools and software is a plus. Knowledge of the energy & natural resources industry is advantageous. This role is in office and based in Beverly Hills, CA.
