LocumJobsOnline is working with AAS Locum Tenens to find a qualified Radiology MD in Port Charlotte, Florida, 33954!About The PositionWe are seeking a skilled and experienced Radiology Physician for a locum tenens opportunity in Port Charlotte, FL. This position offers a consistent weekday schedule with no weekend or on-call requirements, providing an excellent work-life balance in a coastal setting. The schedule for this position is Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with no weekend or on-call responsibilities. Physicians must commit to a minimum of 10 shifts per month. In this role, you will perform and interpret a wide range of diagnostic radiology studies, including CT, ultrasound, MRI, and fluoroscopy. You will also conduct procedures such as paracentesis, thoracentesis, and abscess drainages. If you have mammography experience, you will be responsible for reading mammographic studies and performing stereotactic biopsies, needle localizations, and other related procedures. Collaborating with referring physicians to provide accurate and timely diagnostic reports and ensuring compliance with facility protocols are key aspects of this role.   Qualifications:   Board Certified or Board Eligible in Radiology. Active Florida medical license. Must have an active DEA license. Proficiency in diagnostic radiology, with experience in a variety of modalities and procedures. If performing mammography, expertise in mammographic interpretation and related procedures is required.
