Position Summary The Product Manager – Mobile Solutions is responsible for all day-to-day product responsibilities of the mobile solutions business unit. Currently, this includes the Mobile Sterile Processing Department and Rapid Mobile SPD, with expansion as determined by senior management for Mobile Surgery and Mobile Endoscopy. The Product Manager will oversee product development, market development, marketing communications, construction development/operations, and product training related to the Modular Construction Line, including Modular Sterile Processing Departments and Offsite Reprocessing Centers. The role involves significant interaction with internal and external resources, requiring the ability to solve complex situations involving internal business process development, collaboration, Customer satisfaction, and tactical decisions. Duties Provide operational oversight of the product line. Manage business operations, including lease orders in Oracle, shipping, and support for field technicians. Maintain pipeline reports on fleet activity and availability. Build and maintain partnerships inside and outside the organization. Perform product demonstrations for Customers. Create and manage capital requests for new products. Assist in developing core positioning and messaging for the product line. Manage serial number creation and fleet movement. Oversee new build capital equipment orders. Coordinate with suppliers on fleet and build processes. Manage documentation such as unit drawings, site guides, and utility requirements. Oversee fleet upgrades and unit trunk stock. Collaborate with Customer Service and manufacturers on build quality and unit support. Lead strategic initiatives using lean principles and provide user training. Handle customer purchase orders and legal agreements in Oracle. Additional Duties Deep understanding of mobile unit features and capabilities. Attend industry trade shows. Assess partnership and licensing opportunities. Address issues related to Mobile Units. Work with suppliers on build, commissioning, and support. Coordinate marketing, pricing, and SKUs with relevant departments. Provide operational leadership and continuous improvement. Resolve issues for internal and external Customers. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree 7-10 years of general business experience, with 6-8 years in construction development/operations, and 3+ years in customer service. Preferred: 3-5 years at STERIS with knowledge of its systems. Strong problem-solving, negotiation, and project management skills. High technical aptitude and multi-tasking ability. Leadership qualities and interpersonal skills. Excellent communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office. Skills Successful project management experience. Ability to develop product strategies and roadmaps. Understanding of the medical industry and hospital operations. Ability to interpret architectural plans. Continual development of project planning skills. Operational leadership and continuous improvement capabilities. Deep knowledge of mobile unit features and functions. Partnership building and product demonstration skills. Issue resolution and systematic problem-solving skills. Ability to work with third parties on partnerships and licensing.
