Qualifications:

• Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field.
• Valid School Psychology license or credential.
• Experience working with K-12 students in an educational environment.
• Strong assessment and intervention skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and other professionals.
• Knowledge of special education regulations and best practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Location: Baker, LA

Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments for students.
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with teaching staff.
• Provide short-term counseling and support to students experiencing emotional or psychological difficulties.
• Consult with educators and administrators regarding student needs and interventions.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to a comprehensive support system for students.
• Offer professional development workshops for staff on mental health and wellness.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records and documentation of services provided.
