As a Security Officer - Armed Bank Patrol in Cincinnati, OH , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more.

As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents and promote a welcoming atmosphere at financial institution locations. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence, and interacting with visitors to provide outstanding customer service. You will rely on your professionalism and integrity while supporting a caring culture and working as part of a reliable, agile team. What You'll Do:

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within financial institution locations.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining composure and professionalism.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
  • Monitor access points and restrict entry to authorized personnel only, following established protocols for financial institutions.
  • Observe and report security-related incidents, hazards, and/or maintenance issues according to Allied Universal and client site protocols.
  • Communicate with Allied Universal management and client representatives regarding incidents, concerns, or unusual activity as required.
  • Assist with emergency procedures and drills, supporting the overall preparedness of the location.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
