As a Security Officer - Armed Government Patrol in Bradenton, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more.

As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents at a government location. By conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence, you will help to create a secure environment while delivering outstanding customer service and clear communication. This armed post requires a current armed guard card or license. What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, following established protocols for armed security personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor access points and check identification to help to control entry to restricted areas within the government location.
• Observe and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual circumstances to the appropriate authorities.
• Maintain a visible presence throughout the assigned area to help to deter potential security-related threats.
• Work closely with local law enforcement and emergency responders, as needed, during incidents and/or emergencies.
• Complete required reports and documentation accurately and in a timely manner.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a valid armed guard card or armed guard license as required by applicable state and/or local laws.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
