As a Security Professional - Armed Patrol Driver - Government in Lumberton, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more.

As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal in a government-related location, you will be responsible for conducting regular patrols to help to deter security-related incidents and promote a secure atmosphere for all. This post involves carrying a firearm and driving as part of your daily duties. You will remain visible, respond to incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication, embodying our values of teamwork, reliability, and integrity. What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Carry out security-related procedures and site-specific policies while delivering customer service to clients at a government location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, taking appropriate action as needed.
• Perform regular and random armed patrols throughout the premises and perimeter to help to deter potential incidents or unauthorized activity.
• Maintain awareness of surroundings and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or irregularities according to established protocols.
• Support emergency response activities as dictated by the situation and site requirements, collaborating with local authorities and Allied Universal management when necessary.
• Document all incidents and daily activities thoroughly and accurately in accordance with Allied Universal and site guidelines.
• Interact with visitors, staff, and/or the public in a professional manner, providing assistance or information as needed while upholding security-related procedures.

• Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments
• A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company
• Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of experience in armed security, law enforcement, or military roles.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
