As a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE), you will be responsible, along with the rest of the team, for supporting, monitoring, and evolving the entire infrastructure used at Reliable Robotics. You will be a stakeholder for various projects to enhance our capabilities by building and deploying new tools, while ensuring the team can support these tools effectively. You will explore new solutions to improve infrastructure, maintaining the safety of our users, data, and systems through innovative technologies. Responsibilities Infrastructure evolution and maintenance (code review, new infrastructure setup, upgrades, service migration, etc.) Advise other teams to achieve their goals securely by providing tooling and infrastructure support. Collaborate with the IT team on tools, automation, and issue resolution. Participate in on-call rotations to support infrastructure and tooling. Basic Success Criteria 3+ years experience with Terraform and Puppet supporting deployment in AWS. Professional experience with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or similar. 3+ years experience managing observability platforms like Grafana or Prometheus. Experience with device management using MDM. 3+ years experience with GitOps in a GitHub environment (GHA, GHES, etc.). 3+ years experience working with security teams to design and implement infrastructure and tooling. Preferred Success Criteria Familiarity with AWS GovCloud and Google Cloud services. Knowledge of Google Workspace, Assured workloads, and related controls. Experience with TLS and mTLS protocols. Experience with software packaging. Understanding network security protocols like 802.1x with certificates. Familiarity with EFI network boot protocols. Ability to quickly identify problem sources in engineering contexts. Knowledge of authentication protocols such as OAuth, SAML, SSH Certificates. Experience with Zero Trust Network concepts is a plus. This role is based at our facility in Mountain View, California, with up to 10% travel expected. The estimated salary range is $145,000 to $190,000, complemented by stock options, health benefits, 401k, a casual environment, and great colleagues.
