SUMMARY OBJECTIVE:

We are looking for a Skilled Carpenter that has their own transportation and is eager and ready to learn. Experience is required and a minimum of 2 years in the field will be verified. Ideal candidate will be familiar with the basics of: carpentry, painting, plumbing, electrical, drywall, and related repair and residential remodel work. Hand tools and personal transportation are necessary. We are looking for a candidate that will be honest, caring and has great attention to detail. The duties listed below are intended only as an illustration of the various types of work that may be performed.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Demolition
• Perform construction related tasks and errands, including but not limited to job site set up, site prep for trades, and assisting trades as assigned to support the construction team in maintaining each projects schedule.
• Load and unload materials, equipment and products
• Jobsite preparation and clean up
• Use of plastics, tape and paper to make barrier walls or protective coverings
• Prime and painting of walls, doors, and trims
• Drywall install, tape and texture
• Baseboards and various moldings installation
• Caulking and spray foams
• Basic plumbing
• Basic electrical
• Basic framing 
• Tile installation
• Wood and laminate flooring
• Prioritize and working with a sense of urgency without sacrificing quality
• Utilize a wide variety of hand and portable power tools
• Must be able to maintain a clean jobsite free of tripping hazards and unnecessary obstacles
• Come ready to work in a fast-paced environment and ready to learn 
• Follow established safety rules and regulation, wearing of proper protective equipment, and maintain a safe and clean environment.
• Timely arrival to jobsites and have a team player mindset

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EDUCATION

Must be able to work independently. Must be able to maintain a level of professionalism. Must be able to follow company rules and policies. Must be able to be respectful and aware of others. Must be able to bend, squat and kneel without limitations. Must be capable of climbing ladders and scaffolds and working at heights. Must be able to lift and carry up to 90 pounds unassisted. Must have a valid drivers license and insurance for vehicle you are driving.
