Summary

We are searching for substitute early childhood education teachers . The ideal candidate would exhibit a passionate and enthusiastic attitude towards working with children.

The teacher will be responsible for maintaining a positive and developmentally appropriate educational environment. Substitutes work closely with the co-teachers and kids to ensure children participate in activities that promote enrichment, movement, emotional well-being to their learners.

This position is ideal for an individual looking to earn extra hours outside of their main job. At times, we are able to forecast on what days the substitute hours may be needed and other times, we may reach out to offer extra hours on the day when they are needed.

Duties

• Assist in opening classrooms as children arrive for the day
• Greeting families during drop-off times
• Covering administrative time for teachers as needed
• Supporting teachers to perform the daily classroom tasks
• Responsible for the wellbeing and safety of kids

Requirements

• At least 18 years old
• High School Diploma or GED

Nice To Haves

• Child care field
• CPR/First Aid Training, SBS Training, and Child Abuse and Neglect Training
