Your role
Are you a skilled welder with a passion for precision and quality? Join our dynamic team at Product Company Indiana, where your craftsmanship will directly contribute to the success of our operations. As a Production Welder/Fabricator, you'll play a key role in building high-quality components that meet the exacting standards of our customers.
You will
\n - As part of our Operations team, reporting to the Production Supervisor, you will:
\n - Perform a variety of welding techniques (1G, 6G, MIG, TIG, Arc) on metal components in flat, vertical, and overhead positions.
\n - Prepare materials by cutting, grinding, and shaping metal to ensure proper fit and alignment.
\n - Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints to determine welding specifications.
\n - Fabricate parts and structures according to project requirements using appropriate tools and equipment.
\n - Inspect welds for quality and accuracy, making adjustments as needed to meet ISO 9001 and customer standards.
\n - Maintain a clean and safe work environment, following all safety protocols.
\n - Keep welding equipment in top condition through regular maintenance and cleaning.
\n - Collaborate with supervisors, project managers, and team members to meet production goals.
\n - Participate in training and certification for test cell operations and support team development.
\n - Operate fork trucks, overhead cranes, jib cranes, and other mobile equipment for material movement.
\n - Use business systems and computer programs effectively to access job information and complete job transactions.

\n - 2+ years of hands-on welding experience, including MIG, TIG, and ARC welding.
\n - Strong knowledge of metal properties and structural fabrication, including stainless steel.
\n - Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
\n - Excellent measuring and math skills with a keen eye for detail.
\n - Experience with piping runs and stainless-steel operations (code compliance preferred).
\n - Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work independently under deadlines.
\n - Welding certification or trade school education is a plus.
\n - Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
\n - Must be able to consistently lift 35 lbs., squat, bend, and perform physical tasks as required.
\n - Flexibility to work overtime, including weekends, is essential based on business need
\n - Able to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings.
\n - Assembly Experience with the ability to perform extensive piping runs and can complete stainless steel operations when needed (code compliance).
\n - Perform quality welding in accordance with customer/quality requirements.
\n - Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination are important.
