Welder / Fabricator – Full Time

Location: Upstate NY (Shop Based), On-Site

Company: Rock It Fabrication LLC (Family-Owned Metal Fabrication Shop)

We are growing and looking to add a skilled Welder/Fabricator to our team. Our projects range from custom architectural pieces (railings, panels, decorative elements) to industrial components (hoppers, liners, punch plates, quarry equipment, etc.). Every day looks a little different here — we work hard, work together, and take pride in producing high-quality, long-lasting metalwork.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• MIG/TIG welding (Steel, Stainless, Aluminum)
• Fabricating from drawings/blueprints
• Operating shop equipment (grinders, saws, shear, plasma, etc.)
• Measuring, cutting, fitting, and finishing metal components
• Working with a small team to complete custom and production builds
• Maintaining a clean and safe work environment

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience in welding + fabrication (1+ year preferred, but we’re open to skill-based)
• Ability to read and interpret drawings/prints
• Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
• Reliable, self-motivated, and willing to learn
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team

Bonus Skills (Not Required):

• CNC plasma / laser cutting experience
• Stick welding
• Shop layout / field measuring experience
• Forklift experience
