Job Title: Estimator

Location: Fully Remote (8am - 5pm EST working hours)

Position Overview:

SERVPRO is seeking a detail-oriented and highly skilled Compliance Estimator to join our growing team. This role is crucial in ensuring that all estimates are accurate, properly submitted, and finalized in accordance with SERVPRO and insurance industry standards. The ideal candidate will be proficient in both Xactimate and Symbility estimating platforms and capable of managing the estimating process from start to finish in a remote work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the review, compliance, and finalization of all estimates created by the production team.

• Ensure estimates meet SERVPRO and carrier requirements before submission.

• Coordinate with project managers and production staff to gather all necessary data for accurate scope writing.

• Submit estimates through appropriate channels and handle necessary revisions or supplements.

• Maintain consistency in estimate quality, accuracy, and compliance across all loss types (water, fire, mold, storm, etc.).

• Communicate with insurance adjusters, third-party administrators, and internal stakeholders to expedite approval processes.

• Monitor status of submitted estimates and follow up to ensure timely claim processing.

• Stay current with carrier guidelines, pricing updates, and compliance protocols.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience writing estimates in Xactimate and Symbility.

• Deep understanding of insurance industry estimating standards and restoration scopes.

• Strong organizational and communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and efficiently in a remote setting.

• High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and critical thinking.

• Proficient in using restoration industry software and cloud-based project management tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience in a SERVPRO franchise or similar restoration company.

• Knowledge of DryBook, MICA, or other restoration workflow tools.
