Job Description Job Description Calling all who dwell in the darkness! Dying for a great job? Join our scream team as a Fright Fest Scare Actor, and enjoy the scariest job this side of the grave. Show us your coldest stare or wicked talent, and we’ll bring you to the dark side as a zombie, ghoul, or thing that dwells in the undrained parts of our water park. You’ll enjoy an endless supply of amazing perks that are to die for! Positions will start training in August, and start working in mid-September.  Pay Rate: $15.50/hour   Audition/Interview Dates and Information: (walk-in, no appointments needed) August 17 ; 11-3pm @ the Six Flags New England Human Resources Office August 30 ;11-3pm @ the Six Flags New England Human Resources Office All applicants should be prepared to demonstrate their best scaring abilities, including a zombie walk.  For questions regarding Fright Fest Roles, please feel free to reach out to our Shows and Entertainment team at: 413-821-2620   You'll Contribute to our Mission by: Jumping out at guests from the darkest corners and best hiding spots as they walk through our scare zones and haunted attractions Transforming into a frightening creature with full makeovers and costumes Repairing and maintaining tattered and bloodstained costumes Scaring the public at special park functions Greeting all victims in the scariest way possible Leaving guests’ screams echoing through the crisp night air Other job duties as assigned   How You Will Do It: Maintain screams and safety at all times Keep escape routes (and work locations) clean Be able to work in an environment as fast-paced as our coasters Demonstrate a strong work ethic and commitment to the Six Flags mantra Be playful and friendly with an outgoing personality Have a positive attitude to deliver the most terrifying experience possible Can’t be afraid of the dark   What You Will Need: Must be at least 16 years old Must be able to stand, walk, kneel, and crouch for extended periods in varied weather conditions, including heat, cold, and rain Must be able to perform in an enclosed costume, having limited sight lines Height and weight may be required for proper fit in specific costumes Have a good attitude and participate as a member of the team Able to communicate effectively in the English language, including the ability to read, speak, and understand the English language Able to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays throughout the fall    What You’ll Get: ~ Free admission to Six Flags parks ~ Complimentary day tickets and season passes for friends and family  ~ Scholarship opportunities  ~ Exclusive employee rewards and events like ride nights and picnics ~ Discounts on food and merchandise while visiting as a guest, and additional discounts though our Perk Spot program  ~401K for eligible employees   Note:  This job description is not intended to be all inclusive.
