IT Project Manager

Location:

Austin, TX (Onsite Monday–Thursday)

Hourly Rate: $55-60/hr

Introduction

We are seeking a skilled IT Project Manager to join our team in Austin, TX. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in managing enterprise-level projects and possess strong communication skills across all levels of an organization. This role will lead international projects involving Shopify and Zendesk from our U.S. headquarters. Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or equivalent experience



• Minimum 6 years of experience managing large enterprise projects within a PMO



• Basic knowledge of Shopify



• Experience in Retail and/or Supply Chain within the Consumer Packaged Goods industry



• Experience managing projects using both Waterfall and Agile methodologies



• Experience working with cross-functional teams



• Must be onsite in Austin, TX Monday through Thursday (no travel costs covered)

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Prior Shopify implementation experience



• Familiarity with Japanese language (JLPT N4 or above) and/or Japanese business functions



• Experience with SAFe framework

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Lead and manage international projects (Shopify and Zendesk - Japan) from Austin office



• Conduct and facilitate Discovery, Planning, and Execution workshops



• Track and document Risks, Issues, Action Items, and RACI matrices



• Prepare and deliver weekly status reports



• Create and manage Project Change Requests as needed



• Conduct Agile Scrum meetings



• Participate in resource forecasting



• Perform project close-out activities



• Ensure delivery of projects on time and within budget



• Communicate effectively across all organizational levels, including executive leadership
