Position: Territory Manager - Payroll/ HCM

Our Territory Sales Manager position is essential for any sales company, and it’s exclusively available at Heartland!

We understand the challenges of running a restaurant or retail store, and we seek a Territory Sales Manager to help us expand our reach in various markets.

As a Territory Sales Manager, you will drive revenue growth, acquire new business, and lead a team of sales professionals. You will work closely with your Division Manager to set appointments, uncover client needs, and present Heartland solutions to target markets such as restaurants, retail, medical, manufacturing, lodging, auto repair, and salons.

During your training, your Division Manager will mentor you through initial appointments using Atlas, our CRM platform, and you will coach your team to success. You will have the flexibility of working from home and setting your schedule, with the opportunity to earn residuals on your business.

Responsibilities include:

  • Deliver engaging sales presentations
  • Educate clients and referral partners about Payroll/HCM solutions
  • Maintain communication with your Division Manager
  • Train and support your sales team
  • Recruit and interview potential sales reps

Additional responsibilities:

  • Network locally to find sales talent
  • Excel in prospecting and communication
  • Work independently and collaboratively
  • Maintain professionalism and integrity
  • Excel in cold-calling and face-to-face meetings
  • Proven track record in sales pipeline development and closing
  • Pass background check and possess a valid driver’s license and auto insurance

This is a remote, field sales leadership role with growth opportunities in leadership and business development.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • W2 employment with medical, dental, life, & disability insurance
  • Uncapped weekly commissions, residuals, and portfolio ownership, with an expected first-year earnings of $90,000 - $105,000+ for top performers
